RankBull installs itself. Your part is pasting two keys — one that gives the installer a place to put your copy, one that gives it an AI engine to run on. Everything below is the real flow, screen by screen. Most people are looking at their own dashboard inside ten minutes of buying.

After checkout you land on rankbull.io/setup with your licence key already filled in, and the same key arrives by email as a backup. One payment, one licence, yours for good.
Confirm your email
The wizard binds the licence to your email. This is the address you'll sign in with, and the one we route your installation by — so use one you keep.
Create a free Convex account and paste a deploy key
Convex is the database + backend platform your copy of RankBull runs on — under your account, on their free tier. Create an account, create a project, and generate a project deploy key (Settings → Deploy keys). Paste it into the wizard. That key is how the installer sets up your copy; it's stored encrypted and only ever used to install and update your deployment. Watch it install itself
The wizard shows five live steps — checking your key, creating your environment, installing RankBull, securing your installation, final checks. This part runs without you; it usually takes 2–4 minutes. The installer verifies its own work before it reports done: your deployment has to answer back healthy before the wizard moves on.
Create your login
When the install finishes you create your password and land in your own dashboard, served from your own deployment. From now on you just sign in at rankbull.io.
Add your Gemini key — the one required key
Onboarding walks you through provider keys one screen at a time. Only Gemini is required (it's the AI engine everything runs on) and Google AI Studio issues keys free. Every other key is optional and unlocks a specific feature when you're ready — nothing else blocks you.

Questions & troubleshooting
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The whole setup is pasting two keys into a wizard. There is no terminal, no config files, no server administration — the installer does the technical work and verifies it before telling you it's done.
What does it cost to run after I buy it?
RankBull itself is one payment. It runs on Convex's free tier for typical use, and AI usage runs on your own provider keys at cost — Gemini's free tier covers a lot. There is no subscription, no metering, and no per-seat pricing from us, ever.
What happens if the install fails halfway?
It retries automatically, and a failed install never leaves you half-set-up — the installer only reports success after your deployment passes its own health check. If it can't finish (usually a mis-scoped deploy key), the wizard tells you exactly what to fix in plain words.
Why do I bring my own keys at all?
Because that's what makes it yours. Your data sits in your own Convex project, your AI calls run on your own keys at provider cost, and RankBull can never rent-seek on usage. The trade is two minutes of pasting keys for permanent ownership.
