No engine has confirmed llms.txt affects visibility, and at least one SEO vendor has publicly said it doesn't influence AI search yet. Publish one anyway — it costs minutes, it's the canonical place to state facts about your brand for assistants, and early adopters are disproportionately cited correctly. Just don't expect it to substitute for crawlable content and schema.
