Updates: one click, included forever

You own your installation — so updates are offered, not forced. When a new version ships, an Update button appears in your settings with the release notes. One click, a few minutes, and your installation verifies the new version itself before calling it done. Every future update is included in the licence; there is no upgrade pricing.

What you'll need

  • Nothing — updates need no keys and no configuration

The steps

about 1 minute of your time
  1. See what's new

Settings → General shows a Software updates card: the version you're on, and — when there's something newer — the new version with its release notes.

Settings → General → Software updates

  2. Click Update

The update installs in a few minutes with live progress steps. Your workspace keeps working the whole time — updates swap in atomically, so there's never a half-updated state.

  3. Done — verified, not assumed

The installer only reports success after your deployment itself confirms it's running the new version and passes its health checks. Every release is also integrity-locked: what you receive is byte-for-byte the code that passed the release test suite.

Questions & troubleshooting

What happens if an update fails?

Nothing changes. Updates apply atomically — a failed one leaves your installation exactly as it was, on the version that was already working, and you can keep using it while it retries. Your sign-in is never affected.

Do updates cost anything?

No. Every future update is part of the one-time licence. The Update button is the entire upgrade process.

Can I skip versions?

Yes — updating always brings you to the current version regardless of how many releases you skipped.

One payment. Your infrastructure. Every update included.
