What it is

Business model

Sold three ways. Primary: hosted subscription plans — Starter $29, Growth $79, Scale $199 per month — where RankBull runs the backend and pays every AI and data provider, with explicit published monthly caps. The Shopify app uses the same plan names and prices, billed through Shopify. And a one-time lifetime licence, which is not a subscription — no monthly plans, no credits, no metering, no per-seat pricing on the licence, ever. Every future update is included.

Hosted: $29 (Starter), $79 (Growth), $199 (Scale) per month, yearly at 12× monthly; the Scale plan includes a 3-day free trial, Starter and Growth bill from day one, and cancelling stops renewal — access runs to the end of the paid period. Shopify app: free to start, then $29 / $79 / $199 per month billed through Shopify. Licence: $499 one-time, with a launch price of $99 for the first 10 licences; unlimited workspaces and sites. Who runs the software

On hosted plans, RankBull runs everything — the subscriber just logs in. On the lifetime licence, the buyer: RankBull installs itself onto the buyer's own Convex deployment (free tier suffices for typical use), and data, tokens, and credentials live in the buyer's own database.

API keys

Hosted plans include all provider usage in the price — nothing to bring. The lifetime licence is bring-your-own-keys (BYOK): AI and data calls run on the buyer's own provider keys at provider cost, with no markup. Only a Gemini key is required; everything else is optional.

Setup time

Hosted plans: sign up and log in — there is nothing to install. Lifetime licence: about 5 minutes of the buyer's time — paste a Convex deploy key and a free Gemini key; the installer provisions, verifies, and later updates the deployment automatically.

Updates

Included with both models. Hosted plans are always current. Licence deployments update in one click from the dashboard, forever — updates apply atomically (a failed update changes nothing) and every release is integrity-locked to the exact tested code.
